Warren Cederberg and Dan Leboe have been owners in the group since 1998 and 2002. As of August 1, 2017 Cameron Marshall has joined the ownership group.
Cameron has been a long-term member of the team.

Cameron Marshall’s Journey: From Sales Consultant to Co-Owner

Automotivaters is an international automotive business development consultancy and training company.  We help manufacturer networks, national sales companies, regional associations, large dealer groups, and individual dealers to implement strategies and build skills that lead to increases in volume, market share, profitability, and customer loyalty.  With our coaching and leadership strategies, we have been able to help dealers to develop teams of exceptional performers, as well help to minimize staff turnover.

Since our inception in 1987, we have worked with dealerships representing every brand. We have been selected by National Sales Companies representing BMW, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Lexus, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover/Jaguar, and Mazda to develop their dealer networks. Our consultancy integrates the departments of an NSC for greater coordination between executive, sales, marketing, product planning, dealer development and training departments.

We have 2 of only 102 consultants world-wide certified by the Volkswagen Group of Companies.

Fusion Performance Group Inc. is the brand for Financial Services Training working with many Credit Unions and Banks in Canada. ISI / PAL Automotivaters Inc. is the brand that conducts consulting and training services in the Automotive sector internationally reaching 11 countries.

The roots of Automotivaters go back to 1987 with a sales training company called ISI International. At the same time a competing training firm called P.A.L. Performance Group was established. The friendly competitors combined training materials, accountabilty tools and human resources in 1995 and merged to form ISI / P.A.L. Automotivaters Inc. Since our inception we have been, and remain, committed to enhancing and improving the image of the retail automotive industry. Automotivaters is a progressive sales, training and consulting firm. Our track record and growth is the result of providing our clients with exceptional training products and services that have achieved real and measurable results. Our dealer network development programs have addressed the goals of increased volume, market share, profitability and client loyalty. We have also provided our materials and strategies for the development of Motor Dealer Association Education and Certification Programs. Our keynote speaking services have been well received at dealer performance groups, motor dealer conventions and with financial service industry clients such as the Canadian Housing and Mortgage Corporation, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) and The Royal Bank of Canada.

Our company roots

The roots of Automotivaters go back to 1987 with a sales training company called ISI International. At the same time, a competing training firm called P.A.L. Performance Group was established.

1991

BMW New Zealand

From 1991 to 2008, we provided programs including introductory vehicle sales, advanced vehicle sales, sales management, video training, tracking, and accountability tools, parts & service management, selling skills for service advisors, private sales events, customized in-dealership follow-up training, and telephone conference coaching.

1995

Our first merger

The friendly competitors combined training materials, accountability tools, and human resources in 1995 and merged to form ISI / P.A.L. Automotivaters Inc. Since our inception we have been, and remain, committed to enhancing and improving the image of the retail automotive industry.

2000

Change of Executive Leadership

Warren Cederberg and Dan Leboe take over controlling interests of Automotivaters to grow the business Internationally.

2002

BMW New Zealand

From 1991 to 2008, we provided programs including introductory vehicle sales, advanced vehicle sales, sales management, video training, tracking, and accountability tools, parts & service management, selling skills for service advisors, private sales events, customized in-dealership follow-up training, and telephone conference coaching.

2004

BMW Indonesia

BMW Indonesia (Bahasa Language Programs). From 2004-2007, we provided programs including introductory vehicle sales, advanced vehicle sales, and sales management.

2005

Sime Darby Singapore

Sime Darby Singapore. This BMW importer launched a Used Vehicle division called Performance Premium Selection. In 2005 and 2006 we consulted on the structure of this operation and trained sales and management staff on sales and service skills specifically for the pre-owned luxury market.

BMW Group Asia

BMW Group Asia (French Language Programs). We were contracted in 2005 to provide customized in-dealership salesperson and management training to the BMW Importers in Tahiti and New Caledonia. Advanced in-dealership training and coaching of sales processes was delivered in September and October 2006.

BMW Malaysia (Sime Darby & Autobavaria)

BMW Malaysia (Sime Darby & Autobavaria). From 2005-2013 we provided customized in-dealership salesperson and management performance training to these dealerships. These were highly customized to close identified sales performance, market share, or profitability gaps.

2007

BMW Group Asia (MINI Habitat - Singapore)

BMW Group Asia (MINI Habitat - Singapore). We were contracted in 2007 to develop and deploy an assessment program of overall dealership operations. This was followed with detailed reporting and action planning. Remedial training and on-site coaching were deployed to improve specific volume and profitability KPIs.

2008

BMW AG Munich

BMW AG Munich. In 2008 we were engaged to customize the DPM (now RPM) concept for the V5 region. This methodology was deployed within the BMW Thailand retailer network.

BMW Thailand

BMW Thailand. We were contracted in 2008 to work with specific dealerships in the improvement of used vehicle operations. These projects involved pre-analysis of used car metrics, and on-site assessment followed by remediation training and management coaching to identified KPIs.

CSI Training and Management Group New Zealand in incorporated

CSI Training and Management Group New Zealand was founded and incorporated in 2008 to better serve our client base in Australasia. This allowed us to deliver services with more flexibility while keeping closer with each of our accounts.

Automotivaters Signs multi year agreement with Toyota New Zealand and Toyota Financial Services New Zealand

The global financial crisis in 2008 left the auto industry crushed in many parts of the world. This was a pivotal time for the Toyota Dealers in New Zealand when they chose to go on the offensive and invest in their people delivery strategies and change the culture of how they retailed motorcars.
